- This download contains the Intel® Ethernet network drivers and software for Windows 7. Which file should you download? Note: 10GbE adapters are only supported by 64-bit drivers: PROWin32.exe for.
- Uses simple 1:1 Network Address Translation (NAT) to map IP addresses on the machine subnet to IP addresses on the control network (support for up to 32 translation mappings) Supports both Linear and Device Level Ring (DLR) topologies on the machine network; Can be configured via a web page or Electronic Data Sheet Add-on Profile.
[00:00] Let's take a look at how we would connect to an Allen Bradley PLC5 device. First, we're going to log into the configure section of the Gateway webpage and then scroll down to the devices page under OPC-UA server. We then want to click on the 'create new device' link. We then want to select the Allen-Bradley PLC5 driver. This driver, along with all of our other Allen-Bradley drivers, work via ethernet. Once we have that selected, we can scroll down to the bottom of the page and hit the next button. We can then configure our device, such as, giving it a name, and a host name, which is the I.P. address of the device we're connecting to. In my case, it's 10.20.4.56 and then we hit the 'create new device' button at the bottom. It will then attempt to browse the device automatically for any tags and once it's finished, it will then automatically connect. Once it is connected, I can scroll down and go to the 'quick client,' open up these folders here, and find our PLC5 device, where we can find all of our tag folders with our tags inside of them.
